A friend gave me an old violin with a cracked back, asking me to make something out of it. Here's what I came up with. Possibly inspired by that "Boston" record album from back in the 70s or early 80's. The top's stained with a light red stain, and the bottom (formerly the side of an old desk) in a light green. I was lucky enough to go to Paris for a few weeks last Fall, and picked up this broken bicycle headlamp for one euro.
